Information About Star Wars: Rogue One

While we're still chomping at the bit for any and all news regarding Star Wars: The Force Awakens, another project heading toward our galaxy at lightspeed is the series' first spinoff film, Rogue One, directed by Gareth Edwards. Not much is yet known about the film, other than it'll center on a group of Rebel soldiers tasked with stealing the Death Star plans before the events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy will be hosting a one-hour Star Wars panel on Friday night at 5:30, and while much of the talk will likely be directed toward Episode VII, we're hoping the duo shed some light on Rogue One as well.
