After a less than stellar first attempt at bringing this character to the big screen, Nicolas Cage is back in the saddle in Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.

The trailer for this newest venture into his dark story has just premiered on iTunes and it looks like this one might actually have some promise!  There’s more than just fire in this trailer that starts off with an introduction from the co-directors of the film, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.

Cage has a new leading lady and some serious demons to fend off in this latest installment, and he looks pretty bad (in a good way) doing it!  Like the last time around, it looks like this one will be incredibly action-packed with enough over the top antics. Based on the look of the trailer, it also seems like this one will be a better film than its predecessor.

The film also stars Johnny Whitworth and Idris Elba and hits theaters Feb. 17, 2012.
