Go Behind The Scenes Of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 With These New Photos

It’s a good time to be a Marvel fan. The company has three projects currently in production – Avengers: Infinity War, its sequel and Black Panther – and three movies set to release this year. Those are, of course, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok. First up though is James Gunn’s space-set adventure, and after last night’s exhilarating Super Bowl spot, I think it’s safe to say that it’s many people’s most anticipated film of 2017.

You don’t often see a sequel surpass its predecessor, but in the case of this particular one, that’s exactly what looks set to happen. It’s still too early to say for sure, of course, but Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 appears to be a wild ride, one that should have no trouble being, at the very least, on par with the original. Now, while we wait for what will presumably be the final trailer to hit, which should be in a month or two, we’ve got a new set of photos to feast our eyes on.

This batch takes us behind the scenes of the massive sequel, giving us looks at Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana and many more shooting their scenes. It’s a neat glimpse at what goes into making a film of this size and while there’s nothing terribly revealing here, fans will no doubt appreciate getting to see this side of the production.

Besides, at this point, we’re all so excited for Vol. 2 that we’ll take anything we can get. Thankfully, Marvel’s been pretty generous lately and the marketing material’s been flowing in at a steady rate, and we expect that to continue as we draw closer to the sequel’s release. Like we mentioned before, there will definitely be at least one more full-length trailer and of course, we should also be receiving the usual barrage of TV spot and clips. So, rest assured Marvel fans, there will be a lot more from James Gunn’s sequel to dig into before it arrives in full.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 blasts into theaters on May 5th and if you somehow missed the Super Bowl spot from last night, you can check it out down below. Once you have, be sure to drop us a comment letting us know how freaking awesome it is.
