In the past 24 hours alone, the prolific concept artist has produced what is perhaps the perfect Avengers 4 finale for Steve Rogers, before turning his attention to Blade and, more specifically, Wesley Snipes.

That’s because Snipes was back in the headlines this week after it emerged that he may be returning to the role of everyone’s favorite Daywalker in the not-so-distant future, which opens up all sorts of possibilities for Blade – including a place in the MCU. That’s the glass-half-full scenario, of course, but we can’t help but dream.

Nevertheless, before we get too far ahead of ourselves, BossLogic has taken it upon himself to reveal what Snipes may look like as the modern-day vampire, replete with a wicked grin and two undead (?) hands reaching out from the shadows. Oh, and he’s also draped in blood for added effect.

Word around town [says] @wesleysnipes has met with @MarvelStudios ? #letBladeLive #blade.

It’s a decidedly darker one-sheet for a film company like Marvel Studios, whose meteoric success is typically found in four-quadrant family movies like Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp.

But there are signs of a changing tide. Pending final legal issues, the Disney-Fox merger will herald the moment when Deadpool becomes a Marvel property once more, while there’s also been chatter of a potential R-rated movie being added to the MCU at some point further down the line.

Could Blade be the one to break new ground for Marvel Studios? We certainly hope so, as it’s been far too long since Wesley Snipes was on our screens kicking ass and taking names. Or as Pom Klementieff’s Mantis would say, taking ass and kicking names…
