The Internet Reacts To That Mysterious New Avengers 4 Photo

What’s more, it seems that the brothers aren’t done messing with us quite yet, tweeting another riddle for us to solve in the form of an excessively bright image and a caption that simply reads: “#wrapped”

Well, at least the text provides some clear information this time, implying that reshoots have finally drawn to a close for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel. But that photo has got the fanbase scratching their heads once more and it wasn’t long before some theories started to emerge, though many of them were simply joke suggestions for the film’s title:

Though the official title is yet to announced, plenty of potential candidates have circulated the internet in recent months. Most recently, Avengers: Annihilation has been deemed a frontrunner by some, though it’s had some competition in The Last Avenger, a title that Mark Ruffalo famously blurted out on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

With Marvel Studios remaining tight-lipped for so long, the frustration among the fans is starting to show, to the point that you have to wonder if Disney is taking its fear of spoilers too far. After all, what mind-blowing title could possibly live up to all this hype?

Regardless of what we end up calling Avengers 4, we can at least be pretty certain that the film will be hitting theaters on May 3rd, 2019.
