Today, we have our first look at the “extremely cool” James Franco in his next film, Spring Breakers. The film, which is directed by Harmony Korine, follows “four college-aged girls who rob a fast food restaurant to afford spring break in Florida, only to get arrested upon their arrival.”

Franco, sporting corn rows and a beard, is playing a rapping drug and arms dealer named Alien. In the movie, he bails the girls out of prison, in exchange for their services in killing his arch nemesis named Arch. The supplied photo of Franco is laugh out loud funny and comparisons cannot help but be drawn to Kevin Federline.

This new batch of photos also features the film’s other stars, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine and Heather Morris, enjoying some Spring break activities such as drinking and riding scooters. They’re also shown running around with balaclavas and guns.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this premiered at a festival later this year (maybe Toronto) before a possible Spring 2013 release date, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
