90210 Alum Jason Priestley is set to make his directorial debut with the indie road-trip film Cas & Dylan.

Until now, the former Beverly Hills heartthrob has stretched his film expertise with the occasional documentary – including the 1999 one on the Canadian band Barenaked Ladies. In terms of feature films though, Cas & Dylan will be his first and it’s set to star The Vow‘s Tatiana Maslany.

Monetfiore Films has picked up the production of the film, which will be a road trip comedy that centers on a 61 year-old man on a mission to die on his own terms until he meets an eccentric 22 year-old stranger who changes everything.

Cas & Dylan will be filming this summer in Canada and no release date has been announced as of yet.
