‘Justice League’ fans rioted after Max forgot to add one key member of the team to its avatar library

However, the streamer responded promptly following the uproar.

Justice League fans are calling out Warner Bros Discovery for the lack of respect for one key member in the live-action DC film after seeing they were missing on Max’s roster.

DC fans noticed that Cyborg was excluded from the list of DC profile pictures users could select on the streaming platform. It’s unknown why he was excluded but it could be assumed that it’s due to the rough relationship Ray Fisher had with Warner Bros when he accused Joss Wheadon of abuse.

People were upset that Fisher was left out. What sparked even more outrage was that avatars from the new Velma series made their way to the platform despite its poor reception from fans and critics. The hashtag #StandWithRayFisher trended on Twitter, with fans demanding that the actor receives the respect he deserves. They also called out Warner Bros. for not taking accountability and threatened to boycott the upcoming Flash movie.

Fortunately, it seems Warner Bros Discovery was made aware of this and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg made its way to the profile pic catalog. But that doesn’t excuse how Warner Bros disregarded the character when the Max first launched after its rebrand.

This is not a great start for a streaming service that wanted to do a rebrand. Having Cyborg missing from DC’s profile pic catalog is one of many things that made users disappointed with the new Max platform. Users also noted that directors and writers were no longer being credited on the content’s details page, unlike before, and only credited the show’s creator.
