Kevin Spacey Sued For Alleged 2016 Sexual Misconduct Incident

Though Kevin Spacey dropped out of the public eye last year shortly after Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp unleashed a torrent of sexual misconduct accusations against him and has attempted to find what Bryan Cranston called a "way back," it seems that the hits just don't end.

According to a new story on Deadline Hollywood, an anonymous male masseuse is now suing the formerly famous and beloved actor for an October 2016 encounter where it’s alleged that Spacey “assaulted and battered [the] plaintiff by forcing plaintiff to touch his scrotum, testicles, and penis, grabbing plaintiff’s shoulders and pulling him in for an apparent attempted forced kiss, and grabbing plaintiff’s genitalia.” When the complainant attempted to leave, it’s claimed Spacey then “blocked access to his massage table and the door with his naked body.”

In addition, the piece goes on to note the plaintiff reportedly told police in Los Angeles about the incident, but indicates the accusation was not acted on at the time. If it ultimately is investigated, it would add to Spacey’s already significant legal woes. As reported previously, authorities in London and the United States are investigating numerous claims against the actor, and though some have not moved forward due to statutes of limitation, this case and others are well within existing legal time frames.

A previously intensely private person, Spacey used the initial accusation as a moment to come out as gay and received intense derision for the revelation along with being dropped from various projects, with House of Cards and All the Money in the World being the two most notable examples.
