If you listen closely, you’ll no doubt hear – nay, feel – the crackle of excitement swirling around Avengers 4, Marvel’s untitled summer blockbuster that’s seemingly on the verge of launching its very first teaser trailer. And it’s gonna be a big one.

Word is the footage will be online this Wednesday, November 28th, by which point we should have a better understanding of Joe and Anthony Russo’s approach to what is undoubtedly the final chapter of MCU Phase Three. Exactly what comes next remains to be seen (The Eternals is all but certain, of course), but before we get too far ahead of ourselves, let’s revel in the excitement surrounding Avengers 4.

Of course, now that the Internet is effectively walking on eggshells, it opens up an opportunity for a little light-hearted trolling – like this very tweet from Marvel India (h/t ComicBook.com), which fuels rumors that the Avengers 4 teaser trailer will be with us imminently.

At this point, we’re counting down the days until Marvel Studios is ready to showcase Avengers 4 for the very first time. The teaser trailer will presumably come hand-in-hand with the official title reveal (Annihilation, perhaps?), as this current installment of the MCU nears its crescendo.

It’s been quite the ride, too, and given Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home are also slated for 2019, it doesn’t take a soothsayer to realize that Marvel Studios – and, by effect, Disney – is about to enjoy another record-shattering year at the global box office. Will Avengers 4 also crack the $2 billion milestone? Time will tell.

For now, all we know for sure is that the untitled MCU sequel will be with us on May 3rd, 2019. Don’t. Miss. It.
