Now, it seems the internet’s prayers have been answered in the form of the first official Endgame still, and as many predicted, it’s a shot from the trailer. But while something tells us that this latest Marvel Studios reveal isn’t about to break the internet all over again, it’s still a nice start to what will hopefully be an interesting four months of Endgame promotion.

In an image that’ll be all too familiar to plenty of fans, we see Tony Stark trapped aboard a ship that appears to be going nowhere fast, recording what he believes to be his final message before he runs out of oxygen.

It’s a moment that’s already been the subject of much speculation, as fans offer their best guesses for how Iron Man might get out of this predicament. One popular prediction, for instance, is that Captain Marvel will come save him, seeing how she’s a space traveler herself and likely headed for Earth, while others have taken Stark’s line about “zero promise of rescue” as a cue for Pepper Potts to enter the fray in her new Rescue persona.

No doubt the theories will keep on coming until Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019, but in the meantime, here’s hoping that the second trailer will at least give us a little more material to work with.
