Michael B. Jordan is well on his way to becoming one of the hottest actors in Hollywood, and from the sounds of things, he could have quite a bit on his slate in the near future. Not too long ago, he was rumored to have auditioned for Star Wars: Episode VII. He is also said to be the top choice to play the Human Torch in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot.

In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Jordan commented on those two projects, as well as a couple of other films that he may join.

The first film that Jordan dished on is the Rocky spin-off Creed, where he is set to play Apollo Creed’s son. Jordan confirmed that the film is still happening and that he’s excited for it. The actor has also been brought up for Independence Day sequel, and while he didn’t say that it was for sure going to happen, he did say that it’d definitely be cool if it works out.

But, the two big unknowns that most people want to find out about are Fantastic Four and Star Wars. Unfortunately, his Fantastic Four reply doesn’t tell us anything that we don’t know. Jordan simply said, “Definitely interested in the project. Josh Trank is a buddy of mine.”

It’s his reply about Star Wars: Episode VII though that actually reveals something. Check out what he had to say below.

“I mean, everybody’s going in on this project. They’re trying to figure out what they want. That’s another incredible franchise. It’s pretty crazy! … We’ll see how it happens. I don’t know how I can do everything.”

Along with that quote above, Jordan said he did not use a lightsaber in his audition. So if there’s nothing else to take from the interview, we at least have confirmation that he did indeed audition for Star Wars.

Unfortunately, I can’t really say how I feel about Jordan in the film until I know what character he’s being considered for. Until that information is made known, there’s really no way to judge whether he’d be a good fit. That being said, I certainly wouldn’t be upset if he appears somewhere in the film. Maybe his casting will be the big Star Wars announcement that is supposed to be coming in the near future?

What do you think of Jordan in all these roles? Would you be excited to see him in Star Wars: Episode VII? Head down to the comments section to share your thoughts.
