MTV Mocks Hunger Games Fans Again With Another New Clip

MTV has another Hunger Games exclusive that they have the audacity to call a clip. The short preview is really just promoting their Video Music Awards this Sunday, during which a flawless goddess named Jennifer Lawrence will present a genuine clip from the highly anticipated film. In this new video, there is technically only a picture of Katniss (Lawrence) running dramatically, but there's also a five-second interview with Lawrence.

MTV has another Hunger Games exclusive that they have the audacity to call a clip. The short preview is really just promoting their Video Music Awards this Sunday, during which a flawless goddess named Jennifer Lawrence will present a genuine clip from the highly anticipated film. In this new video, there is technically only a picture of Katniss (Lawrence) running dramatically, but there’s also a five-second interview with Lawrence.

No mention of Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) or Gale (Liam Hemsworth) in the video, as their should be, but if you’re as obsessed of a fan as I am, it’s still totally worth watching. Lawrence briefly mentions her training and how she learned to use bows and arrows and all that good Katniss-y stuff.

The first extended, meaty clip for The Hunger Games will be premiering at the MTV VMAs tomorrow, Sunday the 28th at 9 p.m. EST. They’re probably not going to show a pivotal scene, but I’m hoping that maybe they’ll show the part where they announce the contenders for the games.

I’ll also be satisfied with any amount of Josh Hutcherson.

Check out the “clip” below and let us know if you’ll be watching the VMAs tomorrow.
