As some of you may have noticed, a mysterious Instagram account has launched for Logan, the upcoming Wolverine movie. Several days ago it brought us our first look at Professor X in the newly titled film, and today, it’s given us a chilling photo of a severed arm holding onto a shotgun.

It’s not clear who the unlucky victim is here, but it’s probably one of Mr. Sinister’s henchmen who has most likely met the wrong end of Wolvie’s claws. The black and white nature of the photo means that we unfortunately don’t get its full, bloody effect, but it’s still a great tease of what’s to come in the R-rated flick.

Now that the series has dropped the PG-13, it means that we’ll finally get the violent outing for the character that we’ve always wanted, and this photo is further proof of that. How bloody they’ll go remains to be seen, but we’re hopeful that director James Mangold and his crew will make full use of their new rating.

Logan will claw its way into theatres on March 3rd, 2017, and along with Jackman and Stewart (who will be making his final turn as Xavier), it will also star Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant and Eriq La Salle.

Tell us, what are you hoping to see from the R-rated Wolvie outing? Sound off below and let us know!
