The infamous demon, played now by David Harbour of Stranger Things fame, will soon headline Lionsgate’s Hellboy reboot, the twice-delayed film that sees everyone’s favorite anti-hero going up against a hellish queen not of this world.

We are, of course, talking about Nimue (Milla Jovovich), who hopes to destroy humanity and bring ruin to planet Earth. Exactly how she plans to do so, we don’t yet know, but after watching today’s new teaser for the film, we’d certainly say that Jovovich’s blood queen is up against it.

Yes, as promised, we’ll finally be seeing a brand new trailer for the reboot and it’s set to drop at 12am EST. And to get us ready for what’s to come, Lionsgate released the above promo online earlier today. It’s not terribly long, but it definitely works as an appetizer for the main course.

Speaking of which, though the first preview didn’t go down very well with fans, Harbour continues to hype up Neil Marshall’s feature as a gory work, complete with decapitations and literal bloodbaths. And with the movie officially earning an R-rating just this week, perhaps it really is keeping some of its most brutal moments under wraps.

In any case, we’ll soon find out if that’s what’s going on here, as we’ll have the second full-length trailer to feast on shortly. After that, Lionsgate and Marshall will summon Hellboy into theaters on April 12th – two weeks shy of a little-known Marvel sequel called Avengers: Endgame, which is poised to absolutely demolish the box office.
