The RSVPs are in and, finally, after assembling a star-studded cast, principal photography has kicked off on the Atlanta set of DreamWorks’ festive comedy, Office Christmas Party – but not without the last-minute addition of Chloe Wepper.

That’s according to The Hollywood Reporter, confirming that Wepper will star opposite the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, T.J. Miller and soon-to-be-Ghostbuster Kate McKinnon, who each look to ring in the festive season with a bang. At the heart of the workplace comedy, though, is a hard-partying Average Joe (Bateman, we assume), who learns that his CEO sister is attempting to shutter the branch he’s called home for years.

In a last-ditch – and ill-advised – attempt to salvage some festivity, Office Christmas Party brings together the entire workplace for the biggest bash of the year as our protagonist teams with the CTO in order to impress a potential client. Also on the DreamWorks guestlist are X-Men: Apocalypse‘s Olivia Munn, Randall Park and The Dark Tower‘s Abbey Lee

Blades of Glory pair Josh Gordon and Will Speck will stage the studio’s end-of-year bash, itself based on a script penned by Laura Solo alongside Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. Meanwhile, Guymon Casady, having initially outlined the premise for DreamWorks’ uproarious Christmas Party, remains attached as a producer, flanked by Daniel Rappaport on behalf of Entertainment 360. There’s also room for Scott Stuber. Gordon, Speck, Richard Vane and Beau Bauman in the producing team.

DreamWorks’ has aligned its festive comedy with an opportune December 9 release date, when Bateman, Aniston and Co. will stage the Office Christmas Party to end all office Christmas parties.
