Today we get a brand new photo from the upcoming film The Place Beyond The Pines. The photo released shows a blonde haired Ryan Gosling on a dirt bike. The film, which has Gosling reuniting with his Blue Valentine director Derek Cianfrance, is currently in post production.
The Place Beyond The Pines is said to be a fantastic tale in the vein of The Deer Hunter. It has an all-star cast, led by Gosling and Bradley Cooper. All signs point to excellent for this one. I personally can’t wait for it.
The official synopsis for the film reads:
“Luke (Ryan Gosling) is a professional motorcycle rider who turns to bank robberies to support his newborn son, but when he crosses paths with a rookie police officer (Bradley Cooper) their violent confrontation spirals into a tense generational fued. The Place Beyond The Pines is a rich dramatic thriller that traces the intersecting lives of fathers and sons, cops and robbers, heroes and villain.”
The Place Beyond The Pines stars Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Rose Byrne, Eva Mendes, Ben Mendelsohn and Ray Liotta is set for release in 2012.
