Ronin’s Avengers: Endgame Costume Revealed In Incredible Detail

While Clint Barton has drawn a lot of mockery over the years for being the guy who shoots arrows, perhaps it’s no coincidence that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes suffered their first outright loss in the only Avengers film not to feature Hawkeye. But as the world is left reeling by the events of Avengers: Infinity War, Jeremy Renner’s character is set to return with a whole new look in Avengers: Endgame.

With the movie’s toy embargo now lifted, S.H. Figuarts has unveiled a new line of action figures featuring the central cast in their latest outfits. The hero who’s undergone the most dramatic makeover is surely Clint, who’s now sporting a ninja-style getup and wielding a blade in his new Ronin persona. While it’s yet to be confirmed why Hawkeye thought a change in wardrobe was in order, the most popular theory by far is that his family perished in the Infinity War snap, bringing out the hero’s dark side.

Though Ronin has been shown wearing a mask in various Endgame merchandise, we’ve yet to see the disguise in any of the film’s promotional footage. One thing we did learn from the latest trailer, however, is that Renner is now boasting an eye-catching mohawk that’s drawn ridicule from everyone up to and including Mark Ruffalo. Nonetheless, Clint’s long-awaited reunion with Black Widow has still managed to get the fans all emotional.

While this month’s release is expected to serve as the final outing for multiple Phase 1 stars, Hawkeye seems like one of the more ambiguous cases. It’s even been rumored that the hero might finally land his own solo project. But before we find out if Clint has a place in Marvel’s next phase, we’ll first see how the current era draws to a close when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
