Go Behind The Scenes Of Wonder Woman With This 13 Minute Mini-Doc, New TV Spot Teases Ares

Imagine for a very brief moment that you’re a Warner Bros. executive. You’re sitting in a plush office, watching as the first wave of reviews label Wonder Woman to be the “best DCEU movie” to date. What do you do? Crank the marketing machine up to 11, of course. And that’s exactly what WB has chosen to do.

Continuing on with their promotional blitz today, we’ve received two very exciting new videos from the studio that you’re definitely going to want to dive into. The first is the mini-doc of sorts that we’ve embedded at the top of the page, which takes us behind the scenes of the tentpole and gives us a look at the production. Running for a solid thirteen minutes, it focuses heavily on Diana’s story while also going into some detail about several other aspects like Gal Gadot’s training, the physical challenges the cast faced during the shoot, what Chris Pine brings to the film and so much more.

The next video we have for you today is a new TV spot for the film, seen above. While these are a dime a dozen at this point, this one’s worth a watch as it gives us a blink and you’ll miss it glimpse of Ares. It’s not much and you’re going to have to look hard to catch him (it’s around the 0:22 mark), but it’s enough to contribute to the excitement surrounding the villain and truth be told, we’re happy that the studio has gone this route with the character, rather than showing us all their cards before the blockbuster even releases.

With the Lasso of Truth in one hand and God Killer in the other, Wonder Woman is expected to march into theaters on June 2nd. Box office analysts have projected a commendable $65 million opening weekend on home turf, but it’ll be interesting to see whether those glowing reviews have much of a bearing on the grand total. Chances are they will, and that’ll no doubt fuel rumors of a sequel getting off the ground in the not-so-distant future.
