Incredibly Detailed Hot Toys Figure Spotlights Kylo Ren As He’ll Appear In Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Hot Toys have lifted the lid on their incredibly detailed Kylo Ren figure, showcasing Adam Driver's baddie as he'll appear in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Crossguard lightsaber? Check. Glowering stare? Check? Gruesome facial scar from his intense duel with Daisy Ridley’s Rey? Check. It can only be the sixth-scale Kylo Ren figure from the folks at Hot Toys.

Released as part of the manufacturer’s Movie Masterpiece Series, this incredibly detailed collector’s item unveils a better look at Adam Driver’s budding Sith Lord as he’ll appear in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Arguably one of the highlights of J.J. Abrams’ franchise revival, there have been rumblings that Kylo Ren will ditch his iconic helmet altogether come December, though below you’ll see Snoke’s loyal subordinate both with and without his Vader-esque mask.

He’s “not Vader yet,” according to the film’s writer-director Rian Johnson, but we can only assume Ren will continue to channel his unruly grandfather when The Last Jedi rolls into theaters. Case in point: check out his deadly new ride, the TIE Silencer.

Getting back to this newly-unveiled hot Toys figure, though, and the official production description reveals that this particular Kylo Ren tie-in boasts 30 points of articulation, a battery-operated LED lightsaber and a helmet with “weathering effects.”

Not bad, eh? Among the photos, you’ll also see Kylo Ren flanked by Snoke’s Elite Praetorian Guards. They’re a dangerous, yet super-stylish addition to the Star Wars canon, and it’s all but certain that Finn (John Boyega) and Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran) will cross paths with those crimson guardians during their daring mission, one which will involve a brief pit-stop at the casino city of Canto Bight.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi zooms into theaters on December 15th, and if early reports are to be believed, there’s a good chance Rian Johnson will circle back to that famed galaxy far, far away to helm Episode IX. Either that, or Disney will hand over the keys to J.J. Abrams.
