HBO are currently producing some of the more interesting dramas as of late and although a lot of their recent shows have actually disappointed me (I’m looking at you Treme) their movies and miniseries (You Don’t Know Jack) have been on top form. This new HBO film project, Too Big To Fail, is directed by Curtis Hanson and covers the story of the 2008 financial crisis. The trailer which debuted last week was a little flimsy but this longer trailer makes it look a lot more gripping and a lot wittier than you might imagine.
The film has a staggeringly good cast led by William Hurt and underneath him are James Woods, Billy Crudup, Paul Giamatti, Topher Grace, Tony Shalhoub, Bill Pullman, Cynthia Nixon, Matthew Modine. Great cast, looking forward to when it premieres May 23rd.
