Two More Dusted Heroes Confirmed To Return In Avengers: Endgame

By now, the number of Marvel fans who aren’t expecting the dusted victims of Avengers: Infinity War to make a comeback in Avengers: Endgame are few and far between, but if there’s anyone out there who still needs further convincing, the recently leaked toy line offers yet more evidence that the late Black Panther and Spider-Man will each be making a comeback.

Granted, the two new Engame tie-in action figures have at least attempted to maintain some ambiguity by labelling the Iron Spider outfit as “Inspired by Avengers: Infinity War,” while claiming that the T’Challa toy is “Inspired by Black Panther.” But seeing this pair boxed up alongside Captain America and Thor, it feels safe to assume that these particular heroes are hitting toy shelves very soon for a reason.

In any case, it’s long been apparent that we haven’t seen the last of T’Challa or Peter Parker. For one thing, Black Panther 2 is confirmed to be on the way, while Spider-Man: Far From Home already dropped its first trailer earlier month. Producers Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal have even mentioned previously that the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel will take place shortly after the events of Endgame, meaning we can probably expect to witness a resurrected Peter onscreen at least once before the credits role as a way of easing the transition to the character’s next solo outing.

Whether or not the screen time for either of these heroes will go beyond a third act comeback is another matter, though some popular fan theories at least suggest how the dusted characters could be revisited pre-resurrection, be it through time travel or through scenes in the Soul World. Such ideas remain speculation for the time being, but regardless, it looks like we’ll be seeing quite a few deceased figures return to the fray when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019.
