Back in the old days, aside from a theatrical trailer and maybe a few TV spots, the general public was privy to a very limited amount of information regarding a movie prior to its release. Now, thanks to the internet and social media, we have VIP access to every intricate detail about the production of any given film.

Case in point: here is an awesome clip that was posted on both Vin Diesel and Tony Jaa’s Facebook pages, which shows them practicing Muay Thai, performing trick kicks, and having lots of laughs as they appear to be combat training for their upcoming sequel Fast & Furious 7.

This video should be cathartic for action fans, as there’s always a sense of goosebump-inducing excitement when two or more action legends are seen together on screen. If this video is anything to go by, we may be slated to see Vin Diesel going head to head with martial arts phenomenon Tony Jaa in Universal’s upcoming sequel, but only time will tell whether we’ll bear witness to this would-be epic match up.

The Fast And The Furious franchise has certainly lifted its game over the past few years thanks to the enormous success of both Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6, and it doesn’t look to be running out of gas anytime soon. The latest instalment boasts fresh blood behind the camera in horror maestro James Wan and an all star action cast that rivals The Expendables.

Personally, I’m most excited for Tony Jaa, who I’ve wanted to see make his big Hollywood debut since he first revolutionized and raised the bar for martial arts cinema in Ong Bak 10 years ago. Seeing him on screen with stars like Diesel and Dwayne Johnson will definitely be a treat for action fans.

Fast & Furious 7 is set to burn some serious rubber on July 11th, 2014. Check out the video below and let us know what you think in the comments section.
