Zack Snyder has shared a new behind the scenes photo from the set of Justice League in London, and while it would be easy to get distracted by the fact that the director is wearing one of Batman’s gauntlets, a closer look points to a pretty major Deathstroke reveal.

As you can see in the banner image above, the iPad that Snyder is inspecting features some storyboards with an unmasked Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello) talking to a mysterious figure who appears to be bald. If that’s the case, you have to believe there’s a very good chance that’s Lex Luthor and what we’re seeing is an interaction between the two villains in Justice League.

However, there are those who believe that this could be a first look at Ben Affleck’s Batman movie. Deathstroke is already confirmed to be appearing in that film, and while it does seem odd for pre-production to be taking place on the movie while Justice League is still shooting, it was recently revealed that production is expected to begin fairly soon.

A Deathstroke cameo in Justice League does seem likely though, and regardless of what movie these storyboards are from, this is still a very cool tease of what’s to come in the DCEU.
