3LAU’s “Cry For You” remix isn’t a radical departure from the original version, as the producer opts to update the song’s arrangement while keeping the vocals prominently placed throughout. The composition is largely the same as September’s version, but the dance elements are toned down to enhance the somber lyrics and focus more on the song’s emotional appeal. 3LAU delivers a quality production on the flip, breathing new life into the decade old song.

While the “Cry For You” remix is worthy of our attention on its own, we’re of course curious as to the announcement 3LAU is teasing in the song’s description and we’ll be sure to keep you posted when the news breaks.
