Danny Avila Drops Massive Bootleg Of MNEK And Zara Larsson’s “Never Forget You”

Every so often a producer releases a remix of a track that puts an exciting new spin on the original. I can't say I ever expected such a rework to come from Danny Avila of all artists, but I suppose that anything's possible in 2016.

Where MNEK and Zara Larsson’s 2015 song, “Never Forget You,” made for a vaguely future house-inclined blend of post-EDM influences, Avila’s bootleg is characterized by a more bold synthesis between big room house and trap. Somehow, even though both genres have been thoroughly run into the ground, the stylistic fusion just plain works.

Be that as it may, Danny Avila’s track record for producing his own releases is rumored to be far from pristine. In a perfect world I would like to credit him as the mind responsible for such a lively bootleg, but the extent of his actual creative contributions is anybody’s guess.

Either way, it’s not every day that I sing the praises of a big room/trap combination, so Danny Avila‘s bootleg of MNEK and Zara Larsson’s “Never Forget You” at least has that going for it. After giving it a listen, visit the comments section below and let me know if you feel the same way.
