Did Firefly Music Festival Just Reveal A Swedish House Mafia Reunion?

Firefly Music Festival is looking to be the first 100% fan-curated massive, which means it's likely going to be something quite special. However, if a recent survey found on the event's website is anything to go by, it may be more than just special. It may be straight up historic.

Firefly Music Festival is looking to be the first, 100% fan-curated massive, which means it’s likely going to be something quite special. However, if a recent survey found on the event’s website is anything to go by, it may be more than just special. It may be straight up historic.

As you can see in the photo above, the survey asks users to rate artists in different genres of music in order to gauge which acts people want to see. Sounds pretty normal, right? Well, it is, until you look under the Electronic category, where you’ll find none other than Swedish House Mafia.

Now, before you start jumping up and down in excitement, it’s important to remember that the survey is designed to simply get an indication of which artists fans would like to see at the festival. So, it’s possible that putting SHM there is just Firefly’s way of seeing whether or not attendees would like to have similar DJs at the event. Perhaps like Alesso, or Axwell Λ Ingrosso? Then again, if that was the case, why not just list them instead?

If you’ve been following the EDM scene for the past few months, you’ll know that this is far from the first time whispers of a Swedish House Mafia reunion have popped up. From deleted Tweets to cryptic messages, hints have been dropping here and there that have fans thinking 2017 may finally be the year that it happens. This new survey from Firefly only adds more fuel to the fire and is no doubt going to get people speculating yet again.

Tell us, do you think Swedish House Mafia is finally ready to reunite next year? Sound off down below with your thoughts!
