Head Back To Croatia With The Ultra Europe 2015 Aftermovie

With Miami gearing up to host one of dance music's biggest festivals, Ultra, the organizers have taken the chance to remind people of its European counterpart, aptly dubbed Ultra Europe. Set to return to sunny Croatia this July, the official aftermovie from last year’s outing has now been released, and it serves as an excellent reminder of all the great memories that were made during Destination ULTRA week, which consisted of the festival itself along with some killer yacht and beach parties.

Documenting what is officially the largest electronic music festival in Croatia’s history, this breath-taking piece of videography is certain to whet the appetites of the scores of Ultranauts preparing to make the annual pilgrimage to the Dalmatian coast later this year.

Created and directed by Charly Friedrich’s critically acclaimed Final Kid team, the nine-minute masterpiece showcases the wild array of talent on show at Destination ULTRA, as we witness superstar acts from all walks of electronic music such as Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Axwell^Ingrosso, Carl Cox, The Chemical Brothers, David Guetta, Marco Carola, Solomun, Steve Angello and Tiësto bringing their signature sounds to the masses.

Kicking off in the heart of Split, the movie takes us on a journey across Destination ULTRA – Croatia Music Week, as we witness each unique event across the seven-day extravaganza. Ultranauts are instantly transported back to July 2015, as we witness the one-off yacht party at Zlatni Rat Beach, a sold-out ULTRA Beach party in Hvar and the unparalleled RESISTANCE-themed closing party that was held at an abandoned fort on the Island of Vis, all in the space of minutes of the movie starting.

Additionally, we get a sneak peek inside the exclusive ULTRA campsite where the heart of the festival and all its attendees reside, before being taken to the main event at the Poljud Stadium to finish the film in true style.

Friedrichs’ inimitable methods of video production have become synonymous with the aftermovie genre over the past few years, and he outdoes himself once again with this beautiful offering – as he perfectly captures the spine-tingling atmosphere that was present across the entirety of Croatia’s Destination ULTRA week.

Tickets for Ultra Europe and Ultra Beach Hvar are now available exclusively from ultraeurope.com/tickets. Check out the aftermovie from last year above and let us know if we’ll be seeing you down in Croatia this summer!
