Salvatore took to SoundCloud this week to share a new remix of his collaboration with renowned vocalist Enya and singer Alex Aris on “Dive,” revealing a new version produced by himself and none other than Sebastian Ingrosso, formerly of Swedish House Mafia.
The new “Dive” mix opens with reggae vibes, complete with relaxed chords and slow rolling beats. After a breakdown section dominated by Alex Aris’ pristine vocals, we are led into a surprisingly dirty drop that features grungy dubstep bass and screeching synths. The two producers bring the energy back down for another vocal driven verse before reprising the dubstep elements to close out the track on a final energetic note.
With plenty of hard hitting beats and filthy sound design, Ingrosso and Salvatore take “Dive” into some unexpected territory while still breathing new life into the original.
