Jauz And Marshmello Team Up On Duke Dumont Remix

Two of 2015’s biggest EDM breakout successes, Jauz and Marshmello, dropped their first collaborative effort in the form of a remix for Duke Dumont’s “Need You (100%)”, transforming the original version’s house grooves into an upbeat trap anthem. Jauz and Marshmello were seen clowning around together earlier in the year for the promotional teaser for Hard Day of the Dead, so news that the esteemed producers isn’t too surprising.

The duo’s remix opens with a mid-tempo trap beat accompanied by strummed plucks and pitch shifted vocals courtesy of A*M*E. A bright synth melody rings off in the background as the percussion picks up in speed leading into the first drop.

The remix seems to lean more heavily under Marshmello’s influence, and Jauz’s contributions seem underscored by the Mellogang leaders signature style. This isn’t to say the song suffers for it, just don’t expect any of his trademark bass work.

Jauz and Marshmello have offered up the remix as a free download, which can be grabbed here.
