The mainstage at EDC Las Vegas saw a number of fresh faces over the weekend, including rising bass music producer Jauz. The shark squad leader dropped a few treats during his explosive set, surprising the audience with a preview of an upcoming collaboration by Zedd and his protege duo Grey.
Zedd had previously brought attention to the LA based up and comers by sharing some of their remix work for his tracks on social media, which helped bring them to a wider audience. The upcoming song represents their first collaborative effort with the world famous producer, and a short video clip of the song’s premiere at EDC has now hit the internet.
The video gives us a thirty second preview of the upcoming collab and so far, we like what we’re hearing. Taking a break from Zedd‘s pop friendly sound of late, the preview sees the producer returning to his roots with rattling electro-percussion and screeching bass synths. If there’s one collaboration to be on the ready for this summer, this would be it.
