“Genesis” kicks off with a gentle synth motif that sets the pace for what’s to come, before a simple drum pattern joins the mix. After a solid introduction, the drums drop out to make way for a stuttering bassline and rising sound design, leading into a soaring future bass drop complete with lush chords and spiraling melodies.

On his latest single, k?d puts his melodic underpinnings and forward thinking production values on full display, resulting in a powerful sonic journey. “Genesis” is the kind of track that can cut through the noise, and just goes to show why the producer is on the fast track to success.

K?d has made “Genesis” available as a free download, so be sure to grab your copy here.
