The electronic music world hasn't forgotten the glory that was Eric Prydz' EPIC 4.0 stage show. Thanks to a new Mashable video detailing the creative process behind the concept, that'll likely be the case for a while longer still.

The electronic music world hasn’t forgotten the glory that was Eric Prydz‘ EPIC 4.0 stage show. Thanks to a new Mashable video detailing the creative process behind the concept series, that’ll likely be the case for a while longer still.

Opening up to “Floj” from Prydz’ debut album, Opus, the video consists of a montage that combines tour and performance footage with commentary from Prydz and others. In addition to detailing his creative process behind the music itself, the speakers discuss the “V-Thru” LED panels used to make the holographic cube, and the technology which allowed Prydz to improvise each performance in real time.

The video’s most compelling quotes are accompanied by the title track of his February album, “Opus,” near the end. I don’t know about you, but no matter how many times I hear the track it still sends shivers down my spine.

Elsewhere on the horizon for Eric Prydz, he still has yet to announce a title, release date or any other information for the ID he premiered at EDC Las Vegas, and still has a deadmau5 collaboration on the back burner as well. Suffice to say, it’s a good time to be a fan.
