NGHTMRE Debuts Remix Of RL Grime’s “Aurora” At Wild Bull In Kalamazoo

Lately it feels like NGHTMRE can do no wrong. The North Carolina-based trap/future bass DJ/producer has fired off originals and remixes at a rapid pace, and few would debate that the time was right for him to try his hand at remixing RL Grime's ambient new track, "Aurora."

Lately it feels like NGHTMRE can do no wrong. The North Carolina-based trap/future bass DJ/producer has fired off originals and remixes at a rapid rate, and few would debate whether the time was right for him to try his hand at remixing RL Grime’s ambient new track, “Aurora.”

For the most part, NGHTMRE did little more than chop the track up in such a way that it would engage a crowd more than what RL Grime uploaded last week. A faster pace and increased percussive presence give his remix a hyphy energy that was clearly received well by those in attendance at the Wild Bull in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

It’s no far cry to expect that NGHTMRE‘s will be but the first of many remixes of RL Grime’s masterpiece, “Aurora.” Until more arrive though, listen to his in the player above and comment below letting us know what you think.
