For the last four years, Richie Hawtin’s ENTER. has been a mainstay of Ibiza’s renown club culture. Thursday nights at Space had never been so rowdy, and the sake was all too absent before Hawtin brought his forward thinking party to the island. Apart from setting trends with inspiring technology, and establishing Ibiza’s first sake bar, ENTER. has consistently drawn world-class talent like Plastikman, Ida Engberg, Adam Beyer, Maya Jane Coles, Maceo Plex, and countless more.

However, all good things, even magnificent parties, must come to an end, and it’s been revealed today that ENTER. will not be returning to Ibiza for summer 2016.

We’ve received the news via a lengthy Facebook post made by Richie Hawtin himself, and although we’re still crushed by the announcement, he does offer a sound explanation. After expanding internationally to Los Angeles’ Escape From Wonderland, Manchester’s Warehouse Project, and even Creamfields Brazil, Hawtin and his team have decided to focus their attention on further building the brand.

Regardless of where the party is taken, Hawtin promises that “ENTER. will continue to explore site specific events around the world based upon our core principles: Music. Sake. Technology. Experience.” R
