Shazam Provides A Snapshot Of Tomorrowland’s Biggest Tracks

Everybody's got one or two songs that reminds them of every festival they go to, and apparently so does Shazam. The music identification app aggregated the numbers of Shazams of different tracks at Boom, Belgium festival Tomorrowland last weekend - as it does at countless others - and even though much of the results were to be expected, there were still a few surprises.

Everybody’s got one or two songs that remind them of a festival they’ve been to, and apparently so does Shazam. The music identification app aggregated the numbers of Shazams of different tracks at Boom, Belgium festival Tomorrowland last weekend – as it does at countless others – and even though much of the results were to be expected, there were still a few surprises.

Major Lazer and DJ Snake’s “Lean On” featuring MØ unsurprisingly took the #1 spot. Tracks like DJ Snake and AlunaGeorge’s “You Know You Like It” and Jack Ü and Justin Bieber’s “Where Are Ü Now” gave the Major Lazer/OWSLA bass music cool kid club further representation, while tracks by Avicii, Kygo, Robin Shulz and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike rounded out the housier end of the spectrum. All of this begs the question: who even needs to Shazam these songs nowadays?

Some of the less predictable entries took the form of Netsky’s “Rio” at #9, Felix Jaehn’s “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)” featuring Jasmine Thompson at #6 and Broiler’s remix of Lea Rue’s heavenly “I Can’t Say No” all the way up at #3.

Check out the video’s for Shazam‘s top ten Shazamed tracks at Tomorrowland 2015 and let us know if any of the entries surprised you in the comments section below.
