Okay, so Major Lazer, DJ Snake, and MØ royally owned last year with “Lean On.” No surprise there; with all the radio play and ad placement, you’d be crazy to think it wasn’t number one. But what about the rest of dance music, what were the other obsessions of the world’s ears? Well, thanks to Shazam, we’re about to find out.

The incredible value of Shazam is its ability to track a real-time audience and trends as they’re happening. So as more and more folks whip out their smart phones and find out what’s playing, the application is able to determine what’s on course to be the next big track.
