Following the release of his music video for We’ll Be Alright, Gym Class Heroes singer, Travie McCoy, now brings us the video for Need You, another track off his debut solo album Lazarus. I’m not a big fan of either We’ll Be Alright or Need You but there’s no doubt McCoy is a talented artist and he has certainly done some good work. Lazarus is a mediocre album but it does show promise for Mr. McCoy.
The song shows off a softer side of McCoy and when speaking about the track McCoy said the following.
“Its about how tough it is to move on and explain to someone that you’re bruised and not really ready to pursue something,” explains the singer, who wants to assure fans that Gym Class Heroes have not broken up.
