The “So Long” mashup opens with a steadily pulsing kick drum and gentle, ambient tones, paired up with vocals provided by Linnéa Martinsson from “Teenage Crime” that run through most of the mix and cement the various elements together.

Filled with serene atmosphere and bright, synthesized melodies, ATTLAS’ mashup manages to connect its disparate elements skillfully, while holding back on the percussion for a good deal of the track’s run time and placing emphasis on emotional impact.

It’s been a big year for ATTLAS, and his latest mashup serves as a fitting send off for 2015. Best of all, he’s released the track for free, and you can grab it over on his SoundCloud page.
