Amplifying the powerful nature of the original, Audien’s remix processes Halsey’s track with a ghostly temperament, and the imagery present in the lyrics lend a spectacular accompaniment to the emotive piano.
Encompassing future bass characterizes the breakdown, and Audien manages to juxtapose the track’s inherent melancholiness with a glimpse of blue sky beyond the grey clouds plaguing the original. The percussion is strong, the rhythm is fluid, and really, we couldn’t be happier with the impact of this remix.
