Caitlyn Jenner praises Trump from Israeli bomb shelter, then hightails it out of there when things get hot

Caitlyn Jenner’s recent trip to Israel ended with an unexpected evacuation due to rising tensions in the region. The Olympic gold medalist had originally gone to Tel Aviv to take part in the city’s yearly Pride Parade. However, growing security concerns led to the event being canceled, changing the reason for her visit.

The situation in Israel took a dramatic turn after Israeli airstrikes hit Iranian nuclear and military sites, reportedly killing at least four high-ranking Iranian commanders. In response, Iran fired hundreds of missiles at Israel on June 13, causing explosions in multiple cities across the country. The sudden increase in violence made it unsafe for Jenner and many others to stay.

As the Iranian missiles struck, Israel closed its airspace, leaving Jenner stranded in Tel Aviv. According to GB News and Times of India, she had to find another way to leave as there were no commercial flights available. This is not to mention how many others were fleeing at the time.

According to reports from Hebrew media, Jenner managed to cross into Jordan by land. This was her only option since both Israel’s and Jordan’s airspace had been closed after the Iranian attacks. Fortunately for Jenner, Jordan reopened its airspace on Sunday morning, allowing her to book a flight from there back to Los Angeles.

Before the situation worsened, Jenner spent time touring parts of southern Israel that had been heavily affected by the Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023. She visited the site of the Nova music festival, where a terrible tragedy had occurred, and saw the burned car memorial at Kibbutz Tekuma.

She also went to Kibbutz Be’eri, another community that suffered greatly during the attacks. While there, she met Yuval Haran, a survivor who had lost his father in the violence and whose mother, sister, brother-in-law, niece, nephew, aunt, and cousin had all been taken by Hamas. Throughout her visits, Jenner spoke with other survivors and honored the many victims of the attacks. She also traveled to Jerusalem, where she visited the Western Wall.

She was apparently visibly shaken and deeply moved by the destruction she saw in the affected areas. Throughout her trip, even during the crisis, Jenner used her X account to show her strong support for Israel. On Saturday evening, she posted about her appreciation for the Israeli people, calling herself a friend, advocate, and ally. Her messages included strong political statements in favor of Israel and the United States.

She praised Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and former President Donald Trump, saying their leadership would not allow reckless violence to continue hurting so many people. Jenner also mentioned Israeli jets flying over Iran and spoke about freeing Iranian citizens, thanking allies, and calling for peace for everyone.
