Dillon Francis has returned with a new track this week, enlisting the help of GTA and Snappy Jit on “Candy.” To coincide with the new release, Francis dropped a video clip with deliberately poor production values that features his pinata Gerald and an eclectic group of dancers. Fans who follow Dillon Francis on Snapchat will have already been familiarized with the pinata, who has made a few notable appearances in his comedic videos in the past.
“Candy” is a rowdy bass heavy banger, opening with a catchy offbeat rhythm and blaring horn samples. A pitched up vocal sample joins the mix with a few candy references, leading up to the hard hitting drops, which are dominated by festival ready trap beats and a screeching siren sound.
To celebrate the new release, Dillon Francis updated the IDGAFOS store as well, giving fifty lucky fans the chance to purchase their own Gerald pinata. Unsurprisingly, his latest product flew off the shelves and is no longer available after less than just twenty four hours.
