If you’ve attended a somewhat recent Jack Ü performance, chances are you’ve heard “Bloodclat” by Donald Bucks. Its blaring, dissonant synth melody and tribal bass line immediately call to mind Skrillex and Diplo’s larger-than-life stage presence, even if the track itself is fairly simplistic as far as bass music is concerned.

Donald Bucks is signed to the imprint Good Enuff, which is a sub label of the Diplo-owned Mad Decent record label. While he’s still a relatively unknown artist, the release of “Bloodclat” should serve to kickstart his career this festival season.

After listening to “Bloodclat” by Donald Bucks – which has become a mainstay of recent Jack Ü performances – look out for more releases from the budding DJ/producer in the months to follow.
