Dyro‘s made a name for himself as one of the most respected artists in electro house, and the title track from his new EP sees him as deserving of such accolades as ever.
On “Set Me Free,” the DJ/producer has collaborated with fellow Dutchman Loopers to add a measure of wonk to the production. After all, the track blends Dyro’s masterful production style with the bass house elements that have found themselves an increasingly prevalent component of mainstream electronic music. The metallic buzz of each reverberant wobble complements the anthemic vocals to an unexpected degree, and each part of the arrangement rings out with a masterful crispness.
