Ferry Corsten Switches It Up With Find A Way

Ferry Corsten's become about as household a name in the trance community as you can get. Ferry Corsten‘s become about as household a name in the trance community as you can get. Between having collaborated with Tiësto under the Gouryella project and touring with Markus Shulz as New World Punx, he’s also managed to carve out a niche as a solo artist in the genre – but if the early releases from his upcoming album are any indicator, he might be moving in a different creative direction.

“Find A Way” is one of two early releases from his upcoming album, Hello World EP 2. While it still showcases some of Corsten’s signature sparkling sound design elements, it’s irrefutably a house track. Pitch-shifted vocals and a brooding groove give it less main stage appeal than his usual uplifting work, but the song’s execution may earn him more street cred since it comes across as a well-executed departure from the norm. Even the other early release, “Reborn,” sounds as trance as trance can get, making for a stark contrast between the two.
