Galantis Tease A Follow-Up To Pharmacy In 2016

If you liked what Swedish progressive house duo Galantis brought to the table on their debut album, Pharmacy, then we've got good news for you. Even with the rigors of a European tour in January and February that precede a U.S. tour in March, they've announced that they still plan to release a follow-up album in 2016.

If you liked what Swedish progressive house duo Galantis brought to the table on their debut album, Pharmacy, then we’ve got good news for you. Even with the rigors of a European tour in January and February that precede a U.S. tour in March, they’ve announced that they still plan to release a follow-up album in 2016.

In a recent interview with Irish public service media outlet RTE, Galantis discussed their tour and stage show, among other things. In regards to the prospect of new music, Linus Eklöw remarked:

We are going to tour a lot in 2016 and we are constantly working on new music. There’s going to be a lot of new music coming out next year. I’m hoping for another album to see the day of light. We are going to try and reach all of the corners of the world next year.

While it was not poorly produced by any means, Galantis‘ Pharmacy did leave room for improvement from a conceptual standpoint. With their densely packed tour schedule in the beginning of the year, perhaps we can expect some more boundary-pushing music to surface in the months to follow.

As always, we’ll keep you posted.
