God Of War: Ascension Single And Multiplayer Looks Impressive

Are you surprised? God of War: Ascension is still several months away from release, but it already looks better than any other title in the franchise. Don't believe me? Well I've got a pair of trailers here that will make whatever gaming plans you had today pale in comparison.

Are you surprised? God of War: Ascension is still several months away from release, but it already looks better than any other title in the franchise. Don’t believe me? Well I’ve got a pair of trailers here that will make whatever gaming plans you had today pale in comparison.

Of course, single player story is front and center, given that it’s a God of War title. Although we don’t get many tidbits in terms of story details or anything, we’ve still got a couple minutes of Kratos doing what he does best. That hammer weapon he’s using looks like a ton of fun. And am I so disconnected from my Greek mythology that I don’t remember any sort of elephant monster? Someone help me out here.

Or if you’re more interested in the multiplayer they’re planning for Ascension, we’ve got you covered there too. I didn’t get a chance to get my hands on it at E3, but I’m still very interested to see how it works. And by that I mean Sony better not water down the single player in order to put resources into multiplayer, or heads will roll.

Sorry, the video is currently unavailable.

It’s a long way until March. These trailers are making the wait longer.

What say you, gamers? Convinced the multiplayer will actually be a worthy addition?
