Jack Ü’s Got A Big Sean Collaboration In The Works

It seems like nowadays big-name artists can't release collaborations without first teasing them in some way over one or more of their social media avenues. Diplo and Skrillex did exactly that when they took to Instagram to announce that they would team up with Detroit rapper Big Sean to release another incendiary Jack Ü bass/hip-hop crossover.

It seems like nowadays big-name artists can’t release collaborations without first teasing them in some way over one or more of their social media avenues. Diplo and Skrillex did exactly that when they took to Instagram to announce that they would team up with Detroit rapper Big Sean to release another incendiary Jack Ü bass/hip-hop crossover.

Yesterday, Diplo took to Instagram to make the following post:

. @Bigsean x jack ü coming soon

Having produced tracks for the likes of Chris Brown, Yelawolf and Wale, Diplo is certainly no stranger to hip-hop. His and Skrillex’s collaboration with 2Chainz, “Febreze,” demonstrated that the Jack Ü brand would certainly not be a departure from that trend. We’ve certainly not been as celebratory as the rest of the EDM blogosphere about Jack Ü’s releases, but we can’t deny that their sounds lends itself much more to hip-hop – so the track will likely flow much better than, say, their Justin Bieber collaboration, “Where Are Ü Now.”
