Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning Includes An Online Pass Code

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is officially the latest game to include an online pass code. Thanks to the guys over at Joystiq, we now know this, as their review team discovered the pass code upon opening a supplied copy of the RPG. Although they were only able to check the Xbox 360 version, it's safe to assume that the other devices' copies will also require passes.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is officially the latest game to include an online pass code. Thanks to the guys over at Joystiq, we now know this, as their review team discovered the pass code upon opening a supplied copy of the RPG. Although they were only able to check the Xbox 360 version, it’s safe to assume that the other devices’ copies will also require passes.

What does this mean? According to the pass slip, seven missions will be unavailable to those who do not redeem or purchase the online-enabling unlock code. All of them fall into the House of Valor quest line.

Additionally, using a code (found in new copies of the game) will gift players with Mass Effect 3 inspired armor.

This isn’t much of a surprise. After all, Electronic Arts has been including these passes with its games for a while now but it’s still nice to see, regardless.
