A Pennsylvania man described by police as a “serial sexual predator” is facing charges in three separate cases. These involve alleged sexual assaults at two workplaces and the abuse of a 12-year-old child.
Edward A. Eisenhard, 38, was first arrested after an incident at a Five Below store. But the investigation did not end there. The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office says other alleged victims came forward after news of his arrest became public, bringing attention to incidents at several jobs and allegations involving a minor.
According to Us Weekly, the cases involve investigations in multiple municipalities. Court records trace the first complaint to an incident reported in Hilltown Township on September 27. At the time, Eisenhard was managing a Five Below store. He allegedly sent a female coworker to clean the stockroom, then followed her into the back of the store. Prosecutors say he made lewd remarks before restraining and sexually assaulting her. He was arrested on October 1.
He allegedly abused a 12-year-old child
The arrest prompted other women to contact detectives with accounts of their own, according to the district attorney’s office. One allegation concerns an incident at the Valley of Fear Halloween attraction in Lower Southampton Township on September 25, just two days before the reported assault at Five Below.
Eisenhard had worked as a supervisor at the seasonal attraction for 10 years, prosecutors say. On opening night, he allegedly approached a female employee under his supervision and attacked her when they were alone.
The district attorney’s office said Eisenhard grabbed the woman by the throat, squeezing until she struggled to breathe. He allegedly held her wrists above her head against a wall, made sexual comments and assaulted her over her clothing. The attraction’s management dismissed him on September 26, the day after the alleged incident.
Investigators also uncovered a third case in Springfield Township. Prosecutors have charged Eisenhard with repeatedly physically and sexually abusing a 12-year-old child.
Detectives are now asking for help from the public
Bucks County District Attorney Joe Khan addressed the cases in a public statement, saying the evidence pointed to a pattern of alleged predatory behavior. He said Eisenhard appeared to target vulnerable women and put them in situations where they were isolated.
It is not clear whether Eisenhard has retained a private attorney or entered pleas to the charges. Meanwhile, the district attorney’s office believes there could be other victims who have yet to come forward. Detectives are asking anyone with relevant information or similar experiences involving Eisenhard to contact the county’s specialized unit.
